My photographic style combines fun posed shots with candid, photojournalistic moments, capturing the energy and excitement of the day. Technical details matter, and I bring professional equipment to ensure stunning visuals. Using portable studio strobe units both indoors and out, I employ large umbrella diffusers to create soft and flattering lighting. My packages include editing all images for composition, color balance (I normally strive for true-color renditions, but can match any filter style), and exposure, while selected close-ups receive subtle retouching for a polished look - check examples Retouching is an art and you want an artist doing it! I try to make pictures more interesting or emotionally impactful in addition to fixing distractions such as blemishes, pimples, stray hairs, turned collars, yellow teeth, spinach in teeth, etc. If you look carefully at the closeup of a bride’s face in the touchup gallery (#13 and #14), you’ll see I removed the edges of blue-tinted contact lenses from her eyes. I usually spend twice as long editing as I do shooting! You get the full-resolution images (also known as full copyright and printing rights) as well as reduced sizes needed for common social media sites. You are welcome to assemble and print an album on my site or the platform of your choice. 

I can also handle all aspects of creating an album, for a fixed amount over the wholesale album cost, which can vary widely depending on cover, paper, size and the number of pages. I would recommend either Mpix, Zno, Saal, WHCC, or nphoto, but would be happy to use the album vendor of your choice.
